Somewhat excitingly it has been announced who The Littlest Forum members have been swapped with.  My painting 'Waterways', will be sent to Inga Dalrymple who claims she is "Happy as Larry", While I will be the recipient of Darian Zam's 'Superficiality, for which I am equally Larry-like.

These are my paintings currently on display at Gatakers Artspace, Maryborough, Queensland.  They are part of an exhibition titled Exhange.  Fifty five artists have submitted two artworks, one for swap and one for sale.  The swap occurs among the exhibited artists so at the end of the show they receive the work of another artist.  This exhibition is the result of two years work by the amazing Ms Amanda van Gils who founded TFL, The Littlest Forum, an online artists forum in which we chat about all things art related and not.

So my first blog.  Not all that exciting.  I am working on three other paintings at present for a show titled You Are Here.  It is a group show exploring location, mapping and the artists place in the world.  Sounds taylor made doesn't it?  It is an 'open entry event' organised by Stockroom in Kyneton, Victoria.    I have another two weeks before they have to be sent to some kindly relative who will hopefully deliver them on the right day on my behalf - mum!

Speaking of mothers, I have a screaming one year old who would like a little more attention please, so I will leave it here for now.  Possibly not the best, most exciting or innovative blog, but it is mine (all mine), and it will keep you updated on paint, family and life in the Pilbara.
